To find the correct freight class for your shipment:

1. Protect critical ends: cap splines and yokes, wrap balance weights, and use V‑blocks or foam to stop roll and bending.
2. Choose rigid packaging: heavy-wall tubes with plastic end plugs or a wood crate; secure to a full-length pallet with two bands and two straps.
3. Declare the true longest length and mark as long freight if over 96 inches; add “Do Not Stack” and lift points to avoid fork damage.
4. When shipping multiple shafts, sleeve each in kraft or foam and bundle within one tube using spacers; label each piece for receiving.
