To find the correct freight class for your shipment:

1. Mark the BOL clearly: “Badges, in boxes — NMFC 20420, Class 100” so carriers price it correctly without density data.
2. Pack badges snug in rigid cartons with dividers or interleaf paper to prevent scuffs and bent edges; bag metal or printed badges to limit moisture rub-off.
3. For multiple cartons, palletize with no overhang, use corner boards, stretch-wrap tightly, and add a top cap; label cartons with carton x-of-y and total badge count.
4. For event or retail runs, include a packing list by style or name set; this speeds OS&D checks and minimizes claim disputes.
