NMFC 24105 - Foamed Glass Cleaning Blocks | Class 100

To find the correct freight class for your shipment:

1. List the item on the BOL as Blocks, Bricks or Stones, cleaning or scouring, foamed or vitreous cellular glass, in boxes — NMFC 24105 — Class 100.
2. Palletize boxed sets tightly with no overhang; use edge protectors under stretch wrap or bands to keep brittle foamed glass from chipping under strap pressure.
3. Top-load cautiously or not at all; place away from heavy or sharp freight. Add Fragile and Do Not Crush handling notes on each carton and pallet label.
4. Class 100 is fixed (no density break), but capture true weight and pallet dimensions so carriers price accurately and avoid reweigh/inspect delays.
