To find the correct freight class for your shipment:

1. Book at Class 150 under NMFC 24640 and select crates on the BOL; describe as “deflated pneumatic bumper boat with molded plastic seat and outboard motor.”
2. Prep the unit for non-haz shipping: drain fuel, cap lines, disconnect battery, bag loose hardware, and pad the molded plastic seat to prevent scuffs.
3. Crate with internal tie-down points; strap the hull and motor separately inside the same crate and block the lower unit so it cannot swing or rub the walls.
4. Keep crate height low by positioning the motor alongside the seat-body; mark This Side Up and add corner protectors or cones if the crate is non-stackable.
