NMFC 34440 - Doors w/ Service Cabinets | Class 100

To find the correct freight class for your shipment:

1. Pack each door in a double‑wall box or a framed crate, blocking around locksets, hinges, and any metal ventilators so protrusions can’t puncture the panel.
2. Bag loose hardware (hinges, pulls, keys) and secure the bag inside the box or crate; add corner protectors and face sheets to protect finished surfaces.
3. For multiple units, palletize boxes on a 48×40 pallet with slip sheets, strap across the width, and wrap the bundle without compressing louvers or vents.
4. Print the BOL with NMFC 34440, Class 100, and note “boxed” or “crated.” Avoid blanket‑wrap or open shipping, which can trigger reclass and damage.
