NMFC 35780 – Aluminum Building Battens | Class 85

To find the correct freight class for your shipment:

1. Book under NMFC 35780 at Class 85 and list packaging as packages; note that battens are nested to reflect the correct item setup on the BOL.
2. Nest lengths tightly and band with plastic-coated strap every 24–36 inches; add corner boards and end caps to stop bowing and rub damage.
3. Flag long freight early (e.g., 12–20 ft battens) to avoid surprises; mark center-of-gravity and request overlength handling if your carrier requires it.
