Note 36611: NOTE-Applies on mixtures of aluminum or steel angles, bars, beams, channels, furring, studding or molding comprising the essential suspension components of suspension-type ceilings, and on necessary accompanying fittings, fixtures or hardware for installation.

To find the correct freight class for your shipment:

1. Package main runners and cross-tees in rigid corrugated boxes with end caps; telescoping cartons help prevent bowing on long lengths.
2. Palletize cartons lengthwise with no overhang, band securely, and mark Top Load Only to avoid crushing delicate metal edges.
3. Label cartons with NMFC 36610 and “See Note, item 36611,” plus piece count, lengths, and material (steel or aluminum) for quick inspections.
4. Add moisture barriers or VCI liners for galvanized parts going to humid jobsites, and keep cartons off the floor with dry pallets.
