How to Determine Your Class

To find the correct freight class for your shipment:

  1. List NMFC 37100 and Class 70 on the BOL; describe the freight as “steel wall‑mount telescoping shelves, boxed with brackets/hanger pole.”
  2. Protect painted surfaces by using foam sleeves or poly wrap inside each box, and secure loose hardware kits so they don’t abrade the finish.
  3. If sending multiple boxes, unitize on a 48x40 pallet with corner boards; keep rods and telescoping parts fully inside cartons to prevent bending.
  4. For deliveries to job sites, retail build‑outs, or hospitality closets, request liftgate or inside delivery as needed and verify bracket counts on the packing list.
