NMFC 48730 Floor-Standing Clocks in Boxes | Class 200

To find the correct freight class for your shipment:

1. Confirm it’s a floor-standing clock (grandfather/longcase) per Note, item 48731; wall or mantel styles use different items.
2. Pack in heavy boxes or NMFC Packages 107F or 108F. Secure pendulum and weights, pad glass panels, and add edge/corner guards.
3. Keep the boxed clock upright on a pallet. Strap and wrap, block the base to stop tipping, and mark This Side Up and Do Not Stack.
4. List NMFC 48730, Class 200 on the BOL. Add needed accessorials like residential delivery, liftgate, or inside service.
