To find the correct freight class for your shipment:

1. Specify gauge (17 or 18) and whether spouts are flexible or rigid on the BOL to guide correct packaging and handling.
2. For long rigid sections, bundle with steel banding and edge protectors, cap both ends, and secure to 4-way pallets to avoid overlength and shifting.
3. Coil flexible spouts to a stable diameter, strap to a skid, and shield with corrugated or plywood to prevent kinks and crush damage.
4. Note the longest piece length (e.g., 8–12 ft common in elevators) as this can trigger overlength fees; include exact count and fittings in your quote request.
