To find the correct freight class for your shipment:

1. State on the BOL: iron grain spouts, flexible or rigid, 16 ga+; include piece count, longest length, and end style (plain, flanged, coupler) for accurate handling.
2. For rigid sections, cap and tape both ends, add edge guards, and strap 3–6 matched pieces into a timber-framed bundle on a pallet that fully supports the length.
3. For flexible sections, coil to pallet footprint, tie every 12–18 inches, bag to keep fines out, then stretch-wrap and band with a protective top frame to prevent crush.
4. Plan for length surcharges—when parts approach common thresholds (8–12 ft), nest or ship shorter modules, or choose carriers equipped for long freight.
