NMFC 57155 - Steel Coin-Receiving Devices | Class 70

To find the correct freight class for your shipment:

1. Secure the coin slide and coin box before boxing; use foam or corrugated inserts so the steel housing doesn’t rattle and the slide can’t travel during transit.
2. Label cartons with “NMFC 57155 – Class 70 – Nonelectric Steel Device” and include a detailed packing list (housing, coin box, slide) to prevent misclassification at pickup.
3. Bag loose parts like locks, keys, and screws, then tape the bag inside the housing; add edge guards and double-wall cartons for heavier steel assemblies.
4. For multi-unit orders, place each device in an inner box, then master-carton or palletize the boxed units with stretch wrap and corner posts to maintain the listed ‘boxes’ packaging.
