To find the correct freight class for your shipment:

1. Verify you’re shipping compressed wood charcoal in tablet form—not loose briquettes or powder—to match NMFC 58610.
2. Pack tablets in clean corrugated boxes with a moisture-barrier liner; fill voids to prevent chipping and seal cartons with H-taping.
3. Treat as hazardous: consult the SDS, use the proper shipping name and hazard markings on the BOL and labels, and keep product dry during transit.
4. Palletize tight with no overhang; add top sheets and straps, and separate from oxidizers or heat sources in mixed freight.
