NMFC 66100 - Cement Staves for Silos & Tanks | Class 50

To find the correct freight class for your shipment:

1. List NMFC 66100 and the full description “Staves, cement, silo, grain bin or water tank” on the BOL; note fixed Class 50 and include piece count and bundle dimensions.
2. Bundle staves with cardboard or plywood interleaves, edge guards, and steel/plastic banding; place on heavy-duty pallets or A-frame racks with Do Not Stack labeling.
3. Center bundles over pallet stringers and block/brace inside the trailer; for flatbed deliveries to farm sites, use wood dunnage and tarps to protect edges from road debris.
