NMFC 66080 - Poultry Feeder/Waterer Stands | Class 85

To find the correct freight class for your shipment:

1. Bundle KD-flat components: band legs and frames together, bag all fasteners, and wrap the bundle so pieces stay flat and aligned during LTL handling.
2. Separate steel from wood with corrugated sheets or foam to prevent abrasion; add corner/edge protectors on steel parts to stop strap crush and scuffs.
3. If palletizing is required, keep bundles flat on a sturdy skid, band in two directions, limit stack height to prevent bowing, and mark Do Not Stack if needed.
4. List on the BOL: “NMFC 66080 – Stands, poultry feeder or waterer, KD flat, in packages – Class 85,” and note material mix (steel, wood, or combined) for clean inspections.
