NMFC 76500 - Handbag/Purse Frames, Boxed | Class 77.5

To find the correct freight class for your shipment:

1. Confirm the freight is only frames for handbags/purses and packed in boxes; do not mix with finished bags or loose hardware in the same carton.
2. Use sturdy corrugated cartons with partitions or bubble wrap to prevent metal/plastic frame abrasion; fill voids so frames cannot rattle.
3. Palletize boxed frames with layer pads and a top cap; keep cartons within the pallet footprint, then stretch-wrap and add light strapping to avoid crushing.
4. Bill as NMFC 76500, Class 77.5, non-hazardous; list carton counts on the BOL. Example: 10 boxes of steel purse frames, inner-wrapped and partitioned.
