NMFC 76530 - Lamp Shade Frames, Expanded Metal | Class 400

To find the correct freight class for your shipment:

1. Book at Class 400 and list the exact NMFC: “Frames, lamp shade, expanded metal, in boxes (NMFC 76530)” on the BOL to prevent density reclass.
2. Pack each frame in a rigid double‑wall carton (275# test or better). Wrap the mesh lattice to stop abrasion, add edge/corner protectors, and seal all seams.
3. Avoid loose fill that snags in the expanded metal. Use kraft, foam, or honeycomb pads as void fill and place partitions if multiple frames share a box.
4. For multi-carton moves, palletize with no overhang, add a top cap, and strap around cartons (not the product). Mark This Side Up and Do Not Crush.
