NMFC 91880 - Thermal Gypsum Board | Class 70

To find the correct freight class for your shipment:

1. Package boards in sturdy boxes or fully braced crates; add edge protectors and rigid sheets to prevent flexing around the embedded heating element.
2. Palletize flat on a skid longer than the board length, strap in two directions, and wrap to keep out moisture; mark Keep Dry and Do Not Stack if boxes are not crush-rated.
3. Clearly label BOL and cartons: “Thermal Gypsum Board – Enclosed Electrical Element, NMFC 91880, Class 70.” This speeds carrier handling and reduces reclass risk.
4. For jobsite deliveries (e.g., radiant ceiling panels), request appointment and liftgate as needed; example: ship four boxed panels on a 48x96 plywood skid with corner guards and cross-bracing.
