NMFC 114480 - Flour Blenders & Sifters | Class 85

To find the correct freight class for your shipment:

1. Choose packaging by stability: crate tall, top‑heavy sifters; sturdy boxes fit compact blenders with internal bracing around screens and bearings.
2. Bolt the machine to a skid, lock vibration drives, and remove loose hoppers, feeders, or chutes; bag and label hardware, then secure inside the same crate.
3. Write the NMFC on the BOL: “NMFC 114480, Class 85 – Flour sifter/blender, crated or boxed.” Add Do Not Tip and Keep Dry orientation labels.
4. Lower the center of gravity with blocking, protect sensitive sieves with foam and edge guards, and line the crate to contain residual flour dust.
