2. For heavier units, mount the crate to a skid sized for forklifts, mark center of gravity, and add “This Side Up” arrows to prevent tipping in terminal handling.
3. Protect terminal connections and impellers with guards or spacers; bag the unit to keep moisture off labels and include a parts list or serial number inside.
4. Print NMFC 125800 and Class 100 on the BOL, and select accessorials like liftgate or residential delivery if shipping to pool service shops or job sites.
