2. Print NMFC 130190 and Class 55 on the BOL; group pieces by length and note bundle weights to speed cross-dock handling and reduce misroutes.
3. Use blocking and 2x4 dunnage between layers; avoid overhang and keep the center of gravity low so forklifts can lift without flexing the steel.
4. If pieces exceed standard LTL length limits, choose carriers with long-freight allowances or switch to flatbed to avoid length surcharges.
