NMFC 22070 - Machine Bases, Steel/Cork | Class 77.5

To find the correct freight class for your shipment:

1. Package each base in a sturdy carton or crate and bag the cork/rubber inserts to keep oils and moisture off the materials.
2. Use edge protectors and blocking on steel channel flanges; cap open channel ends with MDF or foam to prevent punctures.
3. Print the BOL as: “NMFC 22070 — Machine Vibration-Absorbing Bases, Class 77.5, In Packages” and list piece count separately from any hardware.
4. If shipping with a machine, keep the bases as their own packaged items rather than bolted to the frame so they retain this classification.
