2. Pack to NMFC Packages 726 or 2248: rigid carton or approved package with foam end blocks and rail protection. Example: a 6‑ft baseboard heater uses full‑length edge guards and molded end caps inside a heavy carton.
3. Palletize long units to avoid overhang. Use a pallet at least as long as the heater, add corner boards, strap in two directions, and mark Do Not Stack and This Side Up to protect fins and thermostats.
4. List on the BOL: “Electric wall/baseboard heater, NMFC 26500, Class 125, boxed.” Add service needs (residential delivery, liftgate, call‑ahead) common for job sites and remodel locations.
