To find the correct freight class for your shipment:

1. Use NMFC 51080 when shipping generic (NOI) faucets, bibcocks, gate valves, and parts without a more specific NMFC listing.
2. Pack metal or plastic valves in inner cartons with end-cap protection; cap or wrap threaded ends and seal ports to prevent contamination and impact damage.
3. Choose boxed or crated packaging and palletize evenly; keep handles, stems, and flanges away from edges to avoid bending during cross-dock touches.
4. If mixing brass gate valves with PVC bibcocks, declare as NOI valves under the same item when packaging is consistent; exclude powered actuators or electronics.
