To find the correct freight class for your shipment:

1. Confirm the correct weight break for NMFC 53970 to choose Class 70 or 85, and list the precise boxed weight for each cornice on the BOL.
2. Pack in sturdy double‑wall boxes with foam corner blocks and reinforced end caps to protect delicate trim and fabric-wrapped edges during LTL handling.
3. Note materials on paperwork (wood, MDF, or fabric-wrapped) and keep items in individual boxes; avoid mixing with rods or hardware that fall under different items.
4. Flag long pieces that may trigger overlength fees (e.g., 96 in.+) and request liftgate or residential delivery when shipping to drapery installers.
